Do you have a birthday on February 29th or know someone who does? If so, how do you/they celebrate and when?

I have always wondered that, but I just recently was reminded of it. :lol: Seriously, that must make having their birthday on their actual day (29th) be extra special to be falling once every four years.

my 3rd grade teacher was a leap year baby... she just celebrated it on the 28th. I don't know if she had a big deal on the 29th or not... 3rd grade was a long time ago :lol: other than that, I know no one w/ a 29th birthday.

One of my cousins was NEARLY born on February 29, 1984. But she was born on the 28th instead. :lol:

mar 1 would be the scientifically correct day. one year = one time orbiting the sun. the day after feb 28 is normally mar 1; if we were going backwards in time, feb 28 would be the correct day.

My grandma's a leap birthday....she celebrates the day before except for obviously the 4th year...then she has it on the actual day.

Oh, that's interesting. Does she usually celebrate big on every fourth year to make up for not celebrating on her *actual* birthdate? These things fascinate me.

My uncle(my dad's brother) was born on February 29th, 1964. He always celebrates it on February 28th.

I used to know someone who was born on the 29th; but he also celebrated his b'day on the 28th every year.
