TMZ has learned Anneliese van der Pol has pleaded no contest to DUI after being arrested for driving with a whopping .19 blood-alcohol level.

The "That's So Raven" star was arrested on July 10, 2006 after colliding with a parked car. According to the official report, obtained by TMZ, the crash caused "a domino effect in which the parked vehicle hit two additional vehicles." The report continues: "After hitting the parked vehicle, Defendant then lost control of her vehicle, traveled across the roadway, and finally collided with another vehicle..."

The LAPD arrested van der Pol, whose blood-alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit of .08.

The Disney star pleaded no contest to two misdemeanors -- driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol level above .08. The Los Angeles City Attorney's office prosecuted the case.

Sentencing is scheduled for March 19. According to the documents obtained by TMZ, the court has offered Ms. van der Pol 36 months probation and a penalty of $2,844 in fines and assessments. She'll also have to attend
an alcohol education program.

Lohan has even gone a step further and she's just gone into rehab for alcohol and drug addiction

I'm surprised we haven't heard this news before  When I clicked onto this thread I thought it was about Raven! But I'm glad that Anneliese wasn't hurt and hopefully she'll get the help she needs.

Not surprised. I always knew she had a wild side, especially after she exposed half her boob at the Mean Girls premiere.

I'm surprised but I'm sure she'll bounce back. I just hope she doesn't turn into Lindsey Lohan or Britney Spears by partying and drinking every where.

I was very surprised to hear this, but like you moeee, disappointed too. But you're right...everyone makes mistakes...

I saw her on a local commercial just recently...it looked like her and sounded like her...anyway, she looked different. Her hair was lighter and it looked like she got a nose job.

I'm surprised that she never got into trouble from Disney for wearing outfits like that.

Well, consider this; Danielle Panabaker appeared practically nude in an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and she still got hired to do movies like Sky High and Read It and Weep. Also, before she got to play as Ren Stevens, Christy Calrson Romano played an abused child who promised Thomas Jay Ryan a sexual favor in return for killing her father in Henry Fool. Whether or not she hid that from the casting directors is anybody's guess, but I doubt they cared.

Walt Disney himself fired Tommy Kirk over his homosexuality. If Kim Possible had another episode involving "The Oh Boyz" I don't think they'd kick Lance Bass to the curb for trying to enter the recording studio.

I'm also surprised Disney didn't kcik her to the curb for those outfits. Now we know that the character she played and who she really is are 2 tota;l different people.

If Disney would get smart, they would let her wear those outfits on the show . . . ratings would be sky high.

Some DUI cases are resolved or thrown out before reaching trial. However, many will still reach this climactic point.

Jury selection is the first segment of any DUI trial. Juries are selected from potential jurors “pool.” They are usually questioned by prosecution or defense (like requesting certain potential jurors to be removed). For instance, if one of the potential jurors has strong ties with Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), he or she may be taken out of the jury. This is done so that dispositions are not biased and a fair verdict will be achieved.

When trial begins, both prosecution and defense starts their opening statements. Evidence and witnesses will be presented and the opposing party may cross-examine them.

Lawyers from opposing camps will have the final chance to convince the jury during the closing arguments. Typically, the prosecution will prove guilt while the defense will argue innocence. Then, the judge will give instructions to the jury.

It’s now time for deliberation and conclusion. Some cases will take a few minutes while some take a few days. Upon reaching the verdict, the courtroom clerk will read it aloud.
