I can't beleive I forgot Eric Clapton. His is a case where his solo music is far more popular then the music he made when he was in the verious groups he was in.

I considered listing Diamond Dave, but his solo career, at least from a commercial standpoint, ended only a few years after it began.

Also, Glenn Frey and Don Henley had some pretty successful careers after the Eagles broke up in the early 1980s. Don Felder had a minor hit in 1981 called "Heavy Metal (Takin' A Ride)." I can't remember what Timothy B. Schmit did, however.

If you read my original post correctly I posted artists who had ONE HIT or more. I didn't say anything abt albums. Ronald Isley did songs with R.Kelly and others.

I got his albums Let's Get Serious and Jermaine Jackson that has the songs Dynamite, Tell Me I'm Not Dreaming with Michael Jackson, Do What You Do. I wonder why Skip Martin of Dazz Band never did any solo albums. He has a nice voice. Gerald Levert had some solo success.
