Does anyone know what stores you can find the cheapest seasons in general on DVD? Not online, unless they're really cheap, but rather stores I can find around me. So far, my best bet has been Target. All the season of Roseanne and Will & Grace for example have only been $19.99 each. And The OC, I got seasons one and two on sale for only $25.99 each. It was such a good deal. I hadn't even seen the show before, but I couldn't pass up a deal like that. Well now I love it but....So where can I find cheaper DVDs than from other stores?

Ebay is a good place to get NEW & cheap DVDs.

Aside from Target, K Mart & Wal-mart which generally have cheap sets but very limited supplies and choices, I've found Best Buy & Circuit City to be the cheapest.

I know that you don't care for online retailers, but you really can rack up on deals when you catch the buy one get one free sales. Amazon, Fye, Barnes and Noble, and deepdiscountdvd.com have all had those sales within the last few months. I've bought titles from each.

I usually call around to area stores and most of the time they'll give me the
prices so I can compare. A store called Hastings in our area always have low
prices.

I've found that both Target and Costco have the best prices in my area. Best Buy sometimes does too, but you have to catch their sales. I can go to Target and get a season for $19.99 and find the exact same thing at Best Buy for $48. Target recently had "Bones" on sale for $19.99.

Circuit City around me has a very small TV series section and their prices are not comparable to Target or Costco. The only problem with eBay or many online stores is that you have to consider shipping. Of course, buying in-store means you have to deal with tax so maybe it's a trade-off.

eBay also has shows that aren't available many other places so I usually check out eBay on a regular basis.

Shows like The OC, Smallville, Gilmore Girls, and One Tree Hill go on sale every couple of months for $20-$25 each season. WB is pretty great with their sales.
