I liked it even though it was cancelled. That would be Top of the Heap and Vinnie & Bobby, both lasting seven episodes. They liked this character so much they wanted him to succeed, oh well ... MLB was way better off with Friends. The Harriette character started off on Perfect Strangers. She was on Perfect Strangers on a regular basis from 1987-1989. Carl was on one of the Perfect Strangers episodes. Usually when a character is on a show for two years their pilot beings on that show and the spinoff starts the following week-Or the main characters from the previous show guest star on the first couple episodes of the spinoff. But if we include drama series I'd go with Melrose Place, or maybe the daytime soap opera Port Charles, which spun-off from "General Hospital" in 1997. |
