View Full Version : Chris Webber says, he's going to sign with the detriot pistons freshprinceofLA 01-15-2007, 07:48 PM a good move? I guess so detriot could use an extra big man. Brian Damage 01-15-2007, 08:22 PM Chris Webber is washed up. y2k3Joker 01-15-2007, 08:50 PM That's where I thought he'd go. Back home to Michigan. I think he can help a team like that. It's a good fit Ricky88 01-15-2007, 09:02 PM 1993 TVFactFan 01-16-2007, 12:38 PM He is supposed to play tomorrow against Utah canuckkidd 01-16-2007, 03:47 PM The guy has still got some game left in him, he is still a great passing big man. He is an upgrade for the Pistons at the 5 spot. Despite his attitude sometimes, I would take him on my squad over Nazr Mohammed. Well they have been winning with Mohammed canuckkidd 01-16-2007, 07:21 PM Well they have been winning with Mohammed Still, wouldn't you rather have a Webber on your team (regardless if he is not the Webber of old) over Mohammed? moeee 01-17-2007, 02:15 AM I dont like this signing. They have too many Power Forwards now, which means somebody in thier rotation wont play as much. Also, Webber tends to take bad shots during games. freshprinceofLA 01-17-2007, 02:20 AM Still, wouldn't you rather have a Webber on your team (regardless if he is not the Webber of old) over Mohammed? That's a tough one. Webber still has got a little game but mohammed is better in the long run. i'm not sure. Stormtracker TF 01-17-2007, 05:45 PM I like this signing. He comes cheap, he seems to want to play here, and we now have one of the best passing frontcourts in the league. I think Rip will like this as well. Even at 34, Webber > Mohammed, word around the town is that Nazr wants out anyway, and we need a backup PG. Swap Nazr for a decent point guard and we're set. hatwink 01-22-2007, 12:58 PM Ironically, they have three over-the-hill power forwards in Webber, Wallace, and McDyess. Too bad this isn't 2001. :( hatwink 01-22-2007, 02:16 PM Too bad this isn't 2001. :( Yeah, they would be some dominant jokers.:D |
