I just don't like when he acts like George Jefferson-lol Bobby F. 01-15-2007, 06:43 PM Thank God!! I'm glad they took him off their NBA coverage too. Tim Legler and Greg Anthony are great together. When Smith was there he was just his typical annoying self. Talk like a normal person and people will accept that he has a good amount of knowledge. He's too busy trying to have a TV personality than actually giving an opinion or facts. Brian Damage 01-15-2007, 06:54 PM His radio show here in NYC is top notch though. The best two hours of radio you'll ever hear! Bobby F. 01-15-2007, 06:56 PM His radio show here in NYC is top notch though. The best two hours of radio you'll ever hear! Really???? That's a shock!! Is he more down to earth? TVFactFan 01-15-2007, 06:59 PM His radio show here in NYC is top notch though. The best two hours of radio you'll ever hear! His personality is more suited for RADIO. He reminds me of a Black Angelo Cataldi-lol Atleast Angelo TONED it down when he was on TV Brian Damage 01-15-2007, 07:12 PM Really???? That's a shock!! Is he more down to earth? He gets wild at times, but the man knows all his sports...with the exception of hockey. Brad Russ 01-15-2007, 07:32 PM I was actually starting to like his show. Better then most sports shows on ESPN, and he always was able to get good guests. If they haven't already, I wonder how long it'll be before FSN offers him his own show?? freshprinceofLA 01-15-2007, 07:50 PM I just don't like when he acts like George Jefferson-lol Yea he does act a bit like george jefferson. I acutally like his show. He brings excitement to the sports world. Brian Damage 01-15-2007, 07:57 PM I was actually starting to like his show. Better then most sports shows on ESPN, and he always was able to get good guests. If they haven't already, I wonder how long it'll be before FSN offers him his own show?? I doubt it, he still is employed by ESPN. He still is an insider and still has his radio show on ESPN radio. canuckkidd 01-16-2007, 03:59 PM The guy speaks his mind and has a big ego. To this day he still cannot admit he made a mistake in underestimating the Raptors on drafting Charlie Villenueva. y2k3Joker 01-16-2007, 04:40 PM The guy speaks his mind and has a big ego. To this day he still cannot admit he made a mistake in underestimating the Raptors on drafting Charlie Villenueva. oh yeah!! that was a classic momemt  That whole panel ripped into the Raptors that day. Tweety 01-16-2007, 09:37 PM oh yeah!! that was a classic momemt  That whole panel ripped into the Raptors that day. I didn't understand their criticisms of the Raptors. When I watched Villanueva in college for the first time, I was thinking "this guy's ready for the NBA right now". He ended up finishing 2nd in the rookie of the year voting. It's not like the NBA was filled with super-skilled guys. At that time, high school players dominated the first round of the draft, and very few of them amounted to anything. |
