Well, I would say congrats to any saints fans on the boards but best to my knowledge there aren't any. The saints are a good football team, the best in the nfc in my opinion. The eagles went down to NO with 95% of the country & 99.9 % of the sitcomsonline message board rooting against them & they had a great showing. I think the game plan for reggie bush was fantastic, he had his moments but overall I think the schemes were well designed to defend him. Deuce MCallister, I have always said that he is a top notch running back & he prooved it on sat night. They just could not stop him.

On Friday I posted my feelings about the game & i thought the eagles would score points, I thought the saints would score points, I had a feeling it would be the same type of game that it was in october. It was & it wasn't.

The eagles were far more ready to play this game on saturday then they were in october. They had every chance in the world to win this game but I look back at 2 plays as the difference in the game.

The eagles are driving with the football down 27-21 in the 4th quarter & brian westbrook on a 1st & 10 play runs 9 yards to the NO 3 yd line. Next play westbrook is stopped for no gain. It is now 3rd & a long 1 & what is the next play a qb roll out dump pass to the FB thomas Tapeh. I can't for the life of me figure out that call. I say run westbrook or buckhalter straight up the gut, you basically have 2 cracks to get 1 yd, but any chance of going for it on 4th down was eliminated after tapeh lost 3 yds on 3rd down. They settle for the field goal to make it 27-24.

Fast foward to 156 left in the game, 4th & 10, garcia hits baskett over the middle for a 15 yd reception...1st down???? No wait there is a flag, the play comes back & then I see dirk johnson running onto the field. At this point I begin saying to myself what the F is this guy doing? ( well actually i said other things but that is the clean version of it) You just picked up 15 yds on the play before it was called back & now your punting it??? They could not stop mcallister in the 2nd half, what made andy think he could do it with the game on the line??

Anyway, what happened happened & the saints won. I am proud of my team, I am proud of every single one of them for their efforts & for some thrills downt he stretch that on thanksgiving I thought would only happen in my dreams. This team isn't going anywhere, they are a young, talented team with alot of heart & next year they will be a force to reckon with once again!!!!!!! GO EAGLES!!!!

Honestly, the Saints did a great job containing Westbrook. He did get that 62 yard run, but overall, they kept Westbrook in check. The Eagles did play hard and deserve a lot of credit. I just think, that if the Eagles want to get over the hump, then Andy Reid has got to go.

I thought that too for a while Brian, but late in the season when Reid wasn't calling the plays the eagles looked like a different team. I think they are a few players away for a superbowl team & i am hoping that in the off season they fill a couple of holes that need to be filled, but for the first time in a long time I enter the offseason with WR not the top priority. I really really like our young recievers & if they resign stallworth (which all indications are that they will) they will be fine there.

The saints did contain westbrook as best as a team can, but you really can't shut the man down.

4th and 15, late in the 4th qtr, would you have punted like Reid did, considering you weren't able to stop Deuce all day?

I guess Andy Forgot he was in a Do or Die Game-lol What Andy did would have been fine for a regular Season Game but not in the Playoffs

I think he should have gone for it regardless (playoffs or not) based on the way the game played out. They could not stop deuce in the 2nd half, horrible decision by big red

That is why he should be replaced, the guy just makes some bad decisions in crunch time.
