So I was watching Unsolved Mysteries on LRW the other day, and I saw the Nancy Hyer case profiled...where she picked up a friend from his father's house after estranged father and son supposedly had a big argument, and they both were found murdered shortly after (Nancy and her friend), and all fingers pointed to her friend's father (I can't remember the first name) Fischer, who disappeared not long after the murders.
I was so sad to see that there had been no updates on this case...just the standard "contact UM if you have any information" at the end of the case.
Has this been solved, or is it still cold?

This is one case that really got to me. The son was shot 18 times!!!! 18 times in the head!!! :mad: :mad: :mad: I do believe it was the father, since he started acting all shady after the murders. What kind of father does that??? And poor Nancy! At the wrong place at the wrong time! :(

The suspect's name is William Peter Fischer. He was profiled on America's Most Wanted numerous times before UM profiled him. According to AMW's web site, he was last profiled on that show on September 3, 2005.
