Hello everyone:wave: , I am new to this board so if this question was already answered please forgie the duplicate post.

My friends and I are having a serious debate  on the name of Arnold's goldfish's. I say Arnold had two fish's, one we all know was the popular black goldfish he named Abraham. The other if my memory serves me correctly was a gold goldfish, what was the name of that fish?

I know some say the second goldfish was Sam's but again if memory serves me correct, Arnold gave Sam the goldfish as a way to ease Sam into his new life in a ready made family.

I need all the help I can get on this one, bc I know I am not wrong, or at least I hope Im not:(

Yeah he had a goldfish named Abraham in season 1 and parts of 2 and had a second one at the near end of season 2 and called it Abraham the 2. That's all I know.

Abraham bought the farm in season 2 I believe (he was in the hot tub). As a gift for Abraham's b-day, Willis and Kimberley buy arnold a new fish bowl (with a new fish in it). Arnold sees the imposter and says "I have three words. That's not Abraham."

When Arnold sees the new fish she says that is not Abraham. They ask how he knows and he says Abraham does not swim like that he swims like this and shows them how Abraham swimms and looks at Arnold.

They they have a funeral for Abraham and flush him down the toilet.

Adelay(spelling) found Abraham floating in the fish bowl and told the rest it was to late for mouth to mouth.

They tried to trick Arnold by putting in another black goldfish in the fish bowl.

This episode plot was similar to the episode 1x02 of "Cosby Show" (1984). Indeed, Diff'rent Strokes creator Bernie Kukoff is one of Cosby Shows writers.
