She should have been given her second billing after Bonnie Frankiln. I took the season eight opening and did some edits putting Mac after Bonnie's opening. It just seemed more appropriate. I have a feeling that she was making more than the other cast members since it was reported that she was given $50,000 per episode. Bonnie Frankling was probably making as much maybe more along with Pat Harrington. I think that she should have been given the second billing back. I am thinking that since she was not in every ep that they would just place her and Michael Lembeck towards then end with the other cast when they were featured in an episode.

I guess you have to work you way back up to some things when you fall off track like she did. Opinions, anyone? I think that she would have remained where she was had she not been fired.

I never saw any episodes without her, but I think that Thomas is right...after her departure, the show was forced to move in another direction and I guess they kept that same general new premice when she left? I have no idea. But I think that she deserved to have the 3rd billing after Franklin and Harrington. That would be fair since Schneider probably became a more ssential character after her leaving. But 6th?? That's insulting! It seems like Barbara was the bigger charcater then with the final "and Valerie Bertinelli as Barbara Cooper" title! But anyway thats showbiz lol! I just wish they woulda bumped her back up like they did with Lisa Bonet on the Cosby Show when she left again and then returned and left a final time.
