Did anyone have merchandise connected with the show? I had paper dolls of
the three Bradley girls back in the late 60's.

They released a trainset of the Hooterville Cannonball, with about 3 or 4 coaches (even though they only had 1 on the TV show). I've got the engine, but not the rest of the set. I ended up purchasing another model kit from a different company that matches coach/baggage #5 alot more closely. Here's a photo of the engine (thru a plastic barrier on the edge of a layout table), with a similar coach to the one included in the train set.

Unfortunately, they didn't paint the thing correctly. The tender should mostly be red, not green. (along with a few other smaller mistakes)

I have got the Petticoat Junction Game, 5 of the Petticoat Junction Comic Books, a few of the TV Guides that have articles about Petticoat Juction, and a few magazines called "Radio and TV Mirrior" that had articles about "Petticoat Junction". :)

Dell only published five issues of the Petticoat Junction comic, so you
have the complete set. (I used to have all of them, but right now I only have
#3.) Trivia Note No. 1: the dog on the show was named "Higgins" (although on the show he was always referred to simply as "the dog") and he later became better known as Benji in the movies. Trivia Note No. 2: Henry Scarpelli (father of actor Glenn Scarpelli of One Day at a Time) was the artist on the comics and now draws Archie comics.
