And you're right Brian, Nick Bockwinkle deserves to be nominated. He had good matches with Verne Gagne and Curt Henning. I miss the AWA. I use to watch them on Saturday mornings on ESPN in the mid 80s. I got that AWA legacy DVD that came out recently. It took me back.

I think they should just do away with the celebrity wing of the Hall Of Fame. It's obviously a huge joke, when a guy like Mr. T. makes the Hall of Fame. I can just see all the mid carders who wrestled for 20 years, sitting at home watching Wrestlemania, going absolutely crazy, seeing someone like Mr T. get inducted into the Hall Of Fame. I like him, but he's definitely no Hall of Famer!!

You got that DVD too? It is great. I wish they would have shown the WrestleRock Rumble video from 1986 on this DVD. I know you remember that. That was a parody video of the 1985 Chicago Bears Superbowl Shuffle. WresleRock was held in the Metrodome in Minneapolis. They had Rick Martel, "Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin, The Road Warriors (They wrestled on the Crockett Cup in the NWA a day later and won it in New Orleans) Greg Gagne, Scott Hall, etc, they had the stars. If the AWA would have managed their talent and company right, they would have been right there with the WWE and the NWA/WCW.
