Hi, if someone can answer this question for me, I'll really appreciate it. :D I have DSL, but sometimes, when I load a site with SSL security, the speed of the connection becomes DRASTICALLY slower. I know that it takes time to encrypt information in order to prevent eavesdropping and whatnot, but the rate in which certain SSL-secured websites, such as citi.com, loads for me is ridiculous. We're talking FIVE-EIGHT minutes every time I try to load a new page! I am patient, but not THAT patient. So, I was wondering if there is a way for me to...speed up the process or something. :confused: Are there any settings I can change in my IE (MSN explorer)? Other SSL secured sites, btw, load at the same speed (which is pretty fast) as non-SSL secured sites.....it's just citibank that's driving me nuts. And citi.com happens to be a website I very much need... :crazy:

it means that you installed a security update before .Net SP1

you will have to uninstall Hotfix KB886904 (from the Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel) to install .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1.

(SP1 includes an equivalent, yet incompatible security patch, so it is safe to do this - BUT you should still go to Windows Update and applied any Critical Updates afterwards)

The two downloads that were suggested in the first URL you gave me is for IE 6. I have IE 7, so they won't download/install for me. Are there equivalents for IE 7?
