Four years ago today, Maurice Gibb (one of the Bee Gees) died at the age of 53.
I'm sure he's having fun with his dad and younger brother Andy now.

I remember watching CNN the night when they broke the news that Maurice had passed away. I was really sad to see him die at such a young age. However, he will continune to live on in his music. The Bee Gees made some great music during their career, especially during the 1975-1979 period. Songs like "Srayin' Alive", "Night Fever", "More Than A Woman", "How Deep Is Your Love", "Too Much Heaven', "Tragedy", "You Should Be Danging" among others are all-time classics. And it is important to remember that they made some great songs before and after this period like "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart", "Words" and "For Whom The Bell Tolls". Yooch 01-13-2007, 01:13 AM From everything I've heard, Maurice was a really good guy! :) I join you in remembering him. It doesn't seem like four years already. Janice 01-13-2007, 01:41 AM Maurice's death saddened me. It was so unexpected. I've always loved the Bee Gees. That family has had their share of tragedy. |
