I love THE TEMPTATIONS. They epitomize (IMO) of what is the best R&B groups ever. They (along with THE FOUR TOPS) laid the foundation for the groups that we would come to love such as Earth, Wind & Fire, The O'Jays, The Spinners, etc.

Ireneparalegal i got The Temptations movie on videotape. I bought it from Walmart. I notice that there's some scenes missing on my tape that VH1 showed. That movie is so good and Leon cracks me up. He played David Ruffin's character very well. LOL@Leon when he grabbed the microphone from the dude who was playing Dennis Edwards at the Temptations concert hahahahahahahahahaha. When Leon went backstage after he was finish singing Ain't Too Proud To Beg, the dude who played Otis said have you lost your damn mind? I will whip your ass LOL. Then when Leon was taken away by security, Leon was talking about Dennis saying he ain't me. He ain't no David Ruffin LOL. Without David Ruffin, ya'll ain't nothing LOL. Ya'll some fake ass Temps without me. You hear me? You fake imitation of David Ruffin LOL. Leon had me rolling. I also like the scene when Leon went to the crackhouse to do drugs. Leon said to the drug dealer, front me a $50. The drug dealer said, what i look like? A banker? LOL. Leon said my autograph gotta be worth at least a grand. Drug dealer said oh yeah. Who are you? LOL. Leon said i'm David Ruffin of The Temptations. Drug dealer said well we deal with cash around here my man. Cash. So Leon gave him two tickets to a Temptations concert. Drug dealer said you gonna perform? Leon said that's right. Drug dealer said these tickets say the concert is Saturday. Leon said so. Drug dealer said but today is Sunday hahahahahahahahahahaha. Leon said it is LOL. Drug dealer said yeah. Leon said come on man, help me out. I'm a star LOL. Drug dealer said to some dude who was his helper, show Mr. Ruffin the door LOL. The dude who played Eddie Kendricks got on my nerves because he was always looking after the dude who was Paul Williams. Paul is a grown ass man. He should be able to look after himself LOL. It's a shame he killed himself. He was a serious alcoholic. The dude who played Melvin, he was in Romeo Must Die movie with Jet Li, Aaliyah, Anthony Anderson, Isaiah Washington. He also plays on the tv show 24 with Kiefer Sutherland.
