A former colleague and friend, is moving on to bigger a better things! Kevin Burkhardt who worked with myself and MrIggles is now the new clubhouse reporter for the New York Mets. A great and joyous day this is. Kevin is a true up and coming talent in this business.

I am honored to call Kevin a coworker & even more honored to have him as my friend... One of the very best in this business & I knew it way back in college!!!!! He is the best!!!!!

Kevin told me about this about 3 weeks ago & I was so thrilled for him & asked me not to say anything, but yesterday I heard that mike & the mad dog blew the cover off the secret yesterday. Mike & the angry puppy get all the headlines, but in my opinion Kevin is pound for pound the best anchor on the station. SNY's gain is a huge huge huge huge huge loss for WFAN!!!! They should have locked him up & put him on the midday show with Joe, but they chose Evan Roberts instead.

The only reason Evan was hired in the first place was because Max Kellerman is doing great in the ratings for 1050 ESPN.

As for Kevin, being an Eagles fan is his main downfall. ;)
