There have been threads in the past about who we ourselves resemble in our family, but that is not the point of this thread. This is to share some examples of resemblances between other members of your family, for example children, cousins, nieces/nephews, grandchildren, etc.

It's interesting, because I recently got a Christmas card from my Aunt Fran, my dad's sister. It has a picture of her 3 children (my cousins), and I could notice resemblances right away. My cousin Peter, to me, looks like both my aunt and his father. Allie, my older cousin of the remaining two, looks exactly like my aunt. My other cousin is Jacqueline, the youngest. Her baby pictures looked a lot like my dad's baby pictures. She doesn't look as much like him anymore, but their eyes are the same. Oddly, my dad thinks Jacqueline looks completely like her father. :confused: Oh yeah, and she's got my eyebrows. Poor thing.

With me, I don't take after my parents in skin color. My mom is way darker, and my dad is much lighter. I probably have my mom's eyes and my dad's nose and mouth. Yeah, I'm a white man trapped in a black man's body.

I kind of look like my Mom but my personality and viewpoints are more like my Dad's.

People have said I looked like my mother's younger sister. I just can't see it, but I look like my cousin Lana who's the same age as me, she's five days older than me.

Me either. I am adopted. My sister and my brother were also adopted. My sister and I always get the same reaction from people, "You two don't look alike at all." :rofl:

My oldest cousin (my dad's brother's son) is 27 and married with an infant son. Both him and his infant son look a lot like my dad, only less good looking. Then, my cousin Nina (my oldest cousin's sister) has a son who also looks like my dad. It's odd how many of my cousins look like him more than their own parents.

Everyoe says my brother and I look so much alike we cold be twins (he's a year older than me) but I never thought so.

We do resemble our Father, but in different ways.

You know how Charlie Sheen and Emelio Estevez don't resemble each other, but they both kinda look like Martin Sheen?
