View Full Version : Cody and Carol Scoobiedoo30 01-10-2007, 03:55 PM How come Cody nervery did call Carol Aunt Carol canuckkidd 01-10-2007, 10:47 PM I am assuming it was because Carol was not really his aunt, just like she was not Al, J.T, and Brenden's real mother. Hence them not calling her mom but Carol as well. :) LincolnHeightsfan 03-01-2007, 08:39 AM It was revelant during the early years that they were a Stepfamily. Especially during the first season when Cody had a crush on Dana  But I have noticed that in the later seasons they became more like a family. They fought less, and I even heard Al call Karen and Dana her sisters. Also I heard Mark call Frank his dad in a Season 6 episode. I guess it just happens after a while, on TV, and with Stepfamilies in real life. Scoobiedoo30 03-14-2007, 01:25 AM Cody has had a Cruse on Dana Furienna 04-13-2007, 11:18 AM Probably because Cody was already grown-up when Frank and Caroel got married. But if he had still been a kid, when they got married, I think he would have started calling her "aunt". The Tanner sisters on "Full House" started calling Rebecca "Aunt Becky" after she had gotten married to their uncle Jesse. I've seen it on shows like Andy Griffith and Bonanza. The latter was not a sitcom, of course, but the pilot for Bonanza was almost slapstick, in comparison with the show's later years. I'm digressing a bit and it has nothing to do with stepfamilies. The point I'm making is that I like how characters evolve and mature, along with the series or sitcom, and it is evident in Step by Step, one of my favorite sitcoms. Johnny be good! 06-27-2019, 10:07 AM I agree, Cody should have addressed Carol as his aunt. |
