Ireneparalegal 01-10-2007, 03:51 PM I knew you would make a thread abt this Solomon. I just knew it. I guess you find it funny when a spouse hits another spouse.

Only when a man gets beats up by a woman-lol You heard about this already?
canuckkidd 01-10-2007, 03:58 PM At least Kidd is man enough not to hit her back, he just likes spitting french fries at her

Oh yeah, very early this morning. And I told myself, "Solomon will make a thread abt this and mock this man." I WAS RIGHT. Damnit, I got skillz.
There are so many men who are abused by their wives. But! you don't hear abt it too much because men are embarrassed and/or want to protect their wife and family. It has nothing to do with fear, much like females who are physically abused. Also, because of guys like you who mock them for standing up for themselves and saying ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. She is a jealous bitch who I am sure got it into her head that all men cheat (especially in the NBA) and became paranoid. Or, maybe she did find out something, but still, that doesn't make it right what she has been doing to him and their family. Especially bringing the kids into it. Which, in an abusive family, you can't avoid that. The kids are victims too.
Brian Damage 01-10-2007, 05:25 PM It's a sad story, nothing funny about it at all.
felicitylen 01-10-2007, 05:31 PM I'm not really surprised about the divorce. They've always had problems.

I agree. Even on a board abt sitcoms and funny stuff, this is a sad situation. Nothing at all funny. Thank you Brian for sticking up for this man and not mocking him like so many guys do. It can be embarrassing for these men in these situations but I applaud him for at least trying to rectify his marriage problems and being a man abt it.

One of my co-workers saw her photo in the NY post and said-"She can kick my ass anytime"-lol
Ireneparalegal 01-10-2007, 06:36 PM Well, I bet it feels good to know that others feel like you do Solomon.

Don't include me in that-lol I'm not into that freaky stuff-lol He has a beatup fantasy by Pretty women not me
Ireneparalegal 01-10-2007, 06:43 PM I'm including you because you both think this is a funny thing to joke abt. You think Kidd's children are enjoying this? Violence is violence regardless of who is doing the hitting.

You right it is a serious issue, it just caught me off guard. It seemed like the Post wanted people to laugh the way they had it on the front page

WTF??????? Are you really narrow-minded to think that they would put that article on the front page for laughs? You don't think this is an important story considering this is a man who is finally saying ENOUGH to violence since it's a rare thing to read abt?

Bobby F. 01-11-2007, 07:50 PM If she wants to act like a man then he should treat her like a man. Knock her on her ass if she starts swinging at him. Of course then she'd start crying about how mistreated she is when she has been the instigator all along.

That's the point. She threatened him she would tell the cops he was violent towards her. Since he already had slapped her once, credibility is on her side, unfortunately. Hopefully, his friends, family and teammates will come to his defense and speak abt the things she has done so that he is not dragged through the mud like those a$$holes who do commit violence upon their wives.
Ricky88 01-11-2007, 09:18 PM I've met both Mr. and Mrs. Kidd. I must say Jason is one of the nicest guys you would ever meet. I find it hard to believe he'd do anything to hurt her or the kids. Joumana, on the other hand, if I could relate her to one song, it would be Meredith Brooks's one hit wonder.

I understand because when I was a teen, I was in a relationship like that. Although she didn't really hit me all that often, her and her mother verbally abused me. I was young and naive and thought I was in love. I was brainwashed essentially.
The best thing I ever did was wake up and leave her.
