Does anyone know why the producers/writers or whoever switched the names of Hilda and Zelda?

I believe I recall reading somewhere once that whoever made that decision purposefully wanted to give each sister their "opposite" name; so in the comics Zelda was the wacky one and Hilda the responsible one, but on the show Hilda is the wacky one and Zelda the responsible one.

I love the show and definitely gonna buy the season 1 DVD (and any other high school seasons after that), but it just bugs me why they couldn't leave the wackier name with the wackier sister, and the more conservative name with the more responsible sister.

But hasn't it always been that way, that Zelda always was the intelligent and responsible one and Hilda the wacky and more carefree one?

Zelda is not only the oldest aunt, but she's the head main owner of the witchcraft.

Hilda is not only the youngest aunt, but she's the assistant of the witchcraft.

Now I'm curious...what was the avatar? It's not showing up anymore.

That's a good question. I think TALLguyinKY had a avatar of Janice from The Muppets at one point. I could be thinking of a different member though.

I wonder if avatar has to do with the portal?
