I registered first to just post there, but I eventually began to look around, made a new name and here I am. I shall tell the story of how I came to be[/noonecares]

I had been lurking at the Three's Company board for months before without the courage to register. People seemed to know each other and blah blah i felt weird. Okay, so there was this thread on things that have names the same as TC cast members. Soo, there's these two streets less than a mile apart from each other really close to me and one is Wood St and the other is DeWitt lane. Wood is the last name of Janet on the show and Dewitt is her last name in real life and I thought thatd blow the socks off of people with coolness. I just HAD to let them know cause people would be like WHOA NO WAI WHA?!

Happy Days! In 2001 ,I actually have two registered names here. So actually September 22nd was my 5th aniversary, but I only have one post under that name so yeah, and its full of typos and I forgot my password, so yeah. But then I posted as a guest some and then it was suggested I should register. So I did, on Dec. 9th, then here I was. Id been looking at the Happy Days board for awhile, and I went on Happy Days Online ALL THE TIME. When the HD board was still shown as a part of HD Online with the index on the side. Ar first I thought I would only stick at the HD board, never thought Id be who and where I am now.

Not really one sitcom got me here. I was looking up tv websites on Google and I came to Tim's TV Showcase and one of the links on one of the boards was for sitcoms online so that's how I found the place. That was in March 2000. The next 3 years I would come to SO many times and use the main boards . I would use the links and play the theme songs. I visited the message boards a few times a week too but mostly just the sitcom boards. One day in June 2003 I couldn't access the boards. It said you had to be a member. I don't know how that happened. :lol: So I registered and that's my long story of how I joined SO. :lol:

Mr Ed. In early 2004 ( March 22 ) I was searching on Google for info on the Moko episode. There was a cartoon character that took over people's minds and bodies. It looked like a pilot for a series that never took off. So I wondered if anyone knew about it? I type in Moko and Mr Ed, and found the link here ( along with finding that Charles Boyer's character's name in "Algiers" was "Pepe le Moko" --which gave Pepe le Pew the skunk his own name! )

We STILL don't know about Moko! But I wrote down the lyrics to Mr Ed songs, The title song, and Pretty Little Filly With Pony Tail, which I'd written down over a decade earlier, when it was on Nickelodeon. Check the Mr Ed link, and see.
At the time, I still had to use the library PC, and posted from CSU Fullerton, which I had then only used their library, as I'm at the community college down the street from the U.

So, I've spent so much time here, this winter, because I was bored :typing:
--I am staying at a house in my room-for-rent in a canyon with no TV. I finally got cable last Friday, but had no TV all this time! But I LOVED posting, reading, enjoying!

It wasn't a particular show, I was just bored surfing the net and I started looking for info on spinoffs. I stumbled upon TJ's sites about The Facts of Life and Diff'rent Strokes. I noticed the message boards, but never registered until about a month later.

Three's Company for me as well :)

My brother was looking for information on The Facts of Life, found Sitcoms Online, registered and then got me to register.

So, indirectly The Facts of Life.

My friend wanted me to read some of his FF's on the FOL, GG, and Three's Company boards...

Then, I stumbled across the MASH board, and the rest was history!

The Division....Which isn't even a sitcom. People were talking about SO on a Lifetime message board...But then it turned into FOL.

I was looking up information on other sitcoms and I found this site. I also wanted news on what was being picked up and what was being dropped and stuff like that.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think I replied to a "Ginger VS "Mary Ann" poll around Sept., 2001. I may have made earlier posts, though; I can't remember. :)

Um, I'm not exactly sure WHAT brought me here in 2002 -- it was probably either Cheers, The Brady Bunch (gag) or Mama's Family. I don't have any posts under this name from '02, so I couldn't tell ya.

I registered, and lurked here for a good while. At some point, I forgot that I registered here, so I re-registered a week before I graduated from high school in May of 2003. This time, it was Mama's Family that brought me here, plus the fact I had just met Vicki Lawrence herself in person almost a week prior.

Going on 4 1/2 years, here. It's been a great trip.

The Facts of Life. The only sitcom I ever really enjoyed.

For me, it was The Mary Tyler Moore Show (yeah, I know, big surprise, hehe!). I originally posted here looking for an address to write to Valerie Harper for an autograph. I don't think anybody replied, but I decided I liked it here, so the rest is history! ;) I've made some great friends here, so I def. don't regret it.

I ROAMED AROUND S.O. IMMEDIATELY, BUT DIDN'T REGISTER AT FIRST. I CAN'T REMEMBER HOW LONG IT WAS BEFORE I DID. I STAYED MAINLY ON THE FACTS BOARDS, READING TONS OF THEADS & POSTS.

I remember it was the fall of 2003, because I just started 8th grade, and I used to come to SO during computer class, LMAO!

It doesn't count as being shows that made me join, but I used to lurk on the general board, the Buffy, Star Trek, Facts Of Life, Diff`rent Strokes, Full House, Roseanne, Three`s Company, Step By Step, Family Matters, and 8 Simple Rules boards, all the time. I was so young.

I was trying to make sure I wasn;t seeing things years ago and was doing some research in aug of 2002 and trying to confirm was there a episode of Happy Days that had Laverne Defazio and Mork from Ork in the Cunningham's living room. Found out that it wasn;t a Happy days ep, it was the pilot ep of Mork and Mindy that had a three way crosover between Happy Days, laverne and shirley and Mork and Mindy. And that's how I found this site

I was looking for information about June Blair of Ozzie And Harriet. That was almost 6 years ago!:wave:

For me I didn't join because I had never joined a message board before. You should have seen me register. I came up with the first name I could think of which was mr roper. I even forgot to capitalize the letters. :lol: I also was very shy and if you look at my early posts I sounded stupid. It wasn't until I went to Chit Chat in August and the Random Boards that fall that I felt comfortable around here. Now nobody can shut me up. :lol:

Leave it to Beaver. I joined back in 2002 because at the time I was really into the show. I had never watched the show before then. I still watch it now occasionally, but not as much as I used to.

facts of life

Well I was searching on yahoo for a facts of life site and up came the link for facts of life online so I went and noticed there was a link to a message board so I went there I didn't register at first. I kept coming and reading posts and I can't remember what got me to register but I finally did back when the facts baord was in the single digits and I posted on that board for a while I think that was before there was a chit chat board I can't remember, but then like a month or so later I finally went and posted on the facts fanfic board. But now I post on alot more board other then just the facts, I also post on like Chit Chat of course, Chit chat music, movies and also once in a while on Family Ties and a bunch on Gilmore Girls. And I used to post on the division till the show went off. I think I post on these boards or aleast come and read posts here everyday or almost everyday. Thank you TJ for making a place I can go to talk about my shows with other people who enjoy them as much as I do.

I was looking for more information on The Facts of Life and whether or not it would come back on the air at Nick at Nite or TVLand, and I was lead to this site...the rest is history!!!
