I am pretty sure it only lasted one season, it was on the WB and it was called "Kirk" Anyone remember it?

Yes I know there was a show called Kirk. It was Kirk Cameron raising kids in a sitcom produced the WB. After that failed, Kirk Cameron, a born-again Christian went to work on the Christian thriller "Left Behind" which is a chilling movie.

I suddenly thought of this show after coming across this alleged story. Any type internet "gossip", I try to give the subject the benefit of the doubt at first, and preface things by saying "take it with a grain of salt". But given how problematic Kirk Cameron (https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Creator/KirkCameron) was on the later seasons of Growing Pains and some of the decidedly controversial stances and statements that he has made since then (https://www.nickiswift.com/77659/whatever-happened-kirk-cameron/), it's admittedly hard to to not be so open minded:
