I think they would have. They definitely would have in 1994!! I don't think the rest of the pieces of that team would have changed all that much had Jordan stayed, so I see no reason why they wouldn't have been able to do it in 1994, and 1995. The Houston Rockets were a good team, but even with the combo of Olajuwon and Drexler, I don't think they were as talented as the Bulls were.

During the 90's I hated the Bulls and Niners

I didn't care for either team myself. Jordan was a blazer killer, so I could never stand him.

I don't blame Barry for retiring. The Lions weren't going to get rid of him and I think he did have the vision to see that this team was going nowhere.

The Lions said numerous times they wouldn't trade him. He would have passed Walter Payton the following season since he only needed a couple of hundred yards. Had he stayed 3-4 more years, Emmitt Smith would have never broken the all-time record.
