View Full Version : The ratings not so hot for 'Knights' Brian Damage 01-05-2007, 02:23 AM 4.4/7 Brian Damage 01-11-2007, 11:47 PM 3.3/5 Pavan 01-12-2007, 12:22 AM Episode 2 got messed up because of Bush. If it were to follow According to Jim, it would have held a great deal of its numbers. Jim did a solid 5.7/9 (8.62) million at 8:30. Knights would have done 8 million for sure, if not more. Damn Bush. Brian Damage 01-12-2007, 12:30 AM Episode 2 got messed up because of Bush. If it were to follow According to Jim, it would have held a great deal of its numbers. Jim did a solid 5.7/9 (8.62) million at 8:30. Knights would have done 8 million for sure, if not more. Damn Bush. I am not too sure if that is accurate. The premiere last week kind of bombed and this week, even though Bush's speech cut into the show, still tanked. Other shows on other networks did much better despite having Bush as a lead in. Pavan 01-12-2007, 12:51 AM I am not too sure if that is accurate. The premiere last week kind of bombed and this week, even though Bush's speech cut into the show, still tanked. Other shows on other networks did much better despite having Bush as a lead in. The premiere didn't "bomb." It did 7.2 million. According to Jim at 8:30 that night did 7.21 million. Last night Jim did 8.62 million at 8:30, and I'm sure Knights would have held most of that and do at least 8 million. There is NO way Knights does 5.2 million with Jim as its lead-in. Bush's speech was the reason. you'll see next week when it holds or builds on Jim, even if American Idol dents them all, they will hold on well. All the other networks were down in the 9:30pm half hour. Criminal Minds was down almost 2 million from last week's rerun. I guess you're one of the few who don't like this show? Ireneparalegal 01-12-2007, 12:52 AM I tried getting into it during its premiere, but I found myself changing the channel. Brian Damage 01-12-2007, 12:58 AM The premiere didn't "bomb." I actually found it pretty funny. I didn't see this past episode, but the first episode wasn't bad. Pavan 01-12-2007, 01:00 AM Episode two is even funnier. Try to catch it on abc.com We need a sitcom hit, because Two and a Half Men is the only real hit right now. NBC has Earl and Office, but they are designed for 18-49 really. 30 Rock just doesn't belong on broadcast, it would do better on Showtime or HBO. I'm trying and trying to get people to watch sitcoms, and I think the quality of this one is great. Brian Damage 01-12-2007, 01:07 AM Episode two is even funnier. Earl has faded this year, I guess it is the old "Sophmore Jinx." 30 Rock was a major disappointment to me. |
