I was reading on ESPN about whether some players should be in the Hall of Fame. I'll give the names of certain guys, and you tell us if they should be in the Hall Of Fame. I'll give my opinions as well:
Mark McGwire- Yes
Barry Bonds- No
Sammy Sosa- No
Rafael Palmiero- No
Ken Griffey Jr.- Yes

Barry Bonds will be a YES whether you guys like it or not.
His numbers were good enough before the steroid controversy came up. (figure around 1999).... Not to mention he had 3 MVP's (1990, 92 '93) which should have been 4 but they gave the MVP to broken down Terry Pendleton in 1991.
Thee only other YES would be Griffey Jr.
Too bad he broke down so often in the second part of his career

watch old there cousin joker
now your stepping on braves toes
there was nothing so sweet as watching a 17 hop throw from shallow left field -- by bonds--as the braves beat pittsburg in the bottom of the ninth that year
and seeing bonds crying in left field in the loss
he always sucked in the field
pendleton won the batting championship in 91
he was also a huge clubhouse guy for the braves
its not the best stats that win the mvp
its the most valuable player
ask $rod about that

Ahh the famous Sid Bream play. Barry will never be able to live that one down. He never had a strong arm BUT he was able to track it down in the gaps back in his younger days.

Another bad memory for Barry: The Giants were 6 outs away from their first championship since 1954, and my Angels came back from a 5-0 deficit in the
7th inning to win game 6 6-5 and win game 7.
