Anyone else remember this....probably lasted 6 or 8 episodes. From 1986/87 maybe?
Any facts/info about this show? I really enjoyed it when it was on....

Yeah, it was called "Fast Times". My mom said that she watched it, and Michelle Pieffer was in it.

The sitcom was called Fast Times and it aired on Wednesdays on CBS.
March 5, 1986 - April 23, 1986
(eight episodes)
It was based on the movie Fast Times At Ridgemomt High. Ray Walston and Vincent Schiavelli re-created the roles that they played in the movie.

The lovely Courtney Thorne-Smith played the Jennifer Jason Leigh role. As I remember, the show wasn't half-bad if you pretended that it had nothing to do with the movie. Of course, everyone knew it was based on the movie, so it really suffered by comparison.

Fast Times was a 1986 CBS midseason replacement that had film writer Cameron Crowe on board as a consultant.

At least Ray Waltson made it worth watching.
For some reason the Fast Times sitcom kind of reminds me of Square Pegs. Both were short-lived, single-camera high school sitcoms that aired on CBS during the '80s.

Actually just to correct you but Michelle Pfeiffer was in the short lived National Lampoon's Animal House TV spin-off called Delta House, you can find the theme intro on Youtube.

So this is where Courtney Thorne-Smith got her start. Another actor from Fast Times who would later become successful: Patrick Dempsey.
