I just spent this whole New Year's Day learning WHY and HOW You tube is so addictive!
I got to enjoy listening/watching my favorite opening/closing themes over and over from my favorite shows.

Here are links --You Tube sucks you in, by putting other links up, to lead away from your original choice. So be warned! You CAN simply refuse, and just click these links to go directly to these:

Watching these again --the contrasted openings, I was just thinking:
In the later one, the bird/siren/whistle to signal the end of workday was changed to sound more like real work-siren, instead of the bird-screech of the earlier version. I recall as a kid wondering why the man was pulling that bird's tail? It was explained to me about work-sirens, and that imitated/spoofed it--though I was always told NOT to ever pull an animal's tail! :angryfire

Maybe it was changed because others didn't get it --and the scene where Fred gets his work-card punched is missing from the later version, so I guess it needed the more realistic siren blare.

I hope You Tube gets the opening from The New Phil Silvers Show, where instead of being Sgt Bilko, he's Harry somebody, and the opening has him as a cartoon work siren saying "How Are Ya?" one of his catch-phrases.

I'd like to see all the versions of the opening. Eventually, Saber Tooth Kitty disappeared, and Hampy the Kangaroo-type pet was in the car.

There are versions of Fred, Wilma, and Dino and Kitty; and when Pebbles first appeared, then the Rubbles and Bamm-Bamm, then Hampy, too.
