Which One?

I honestly like both of them. In today's marathon, they seemed to alternate between Sharona and Natalie and I've realized that I like them both equally.

Sharona Fleming cuz she really, really needed the money...which she wasn't getting.

When it was announced that Sharona was leaving, I couldn't imagine ever being able to tolerate her replacement, regardless of who it would be, but I liked Natalie almost immediately. They're very different, which is probably what saved the series. Had they replaced Bitty Schram with someone trying to be another Sharona, it would not have worked. Now, when I watch the earlier episodes, I still like Sharona but she seems a lot more abrasive than I remember her being. I like them both, but I think I like Natalie more.

Watched the marathon, and I watched the Natalie episodes too, and I still like Sharona. She and Monk had a connection, that I just don't see with Natalie.

Although I may start watching again, because I really love this show, and after watching the marathon I may give it a try with Natalie.

I like Sharona more....Natalie's grown on me, but I thought Sharona was just a better-developed (and funnier) character.

They're both excellent characters in their own way. I thought both were hilarious, and they care for Monk a lot.

Sharona. Once she left I sorta lost interest in the show for a while and actually haven't watched the show regularly since she left. I still watch Monk every once in a while but when Sharona was on, I never missed an episode. I'm starting to really get into the show again though and I like Natalie a lot more than I used to.

One of the things that has bothered me about Natalie is she's always calling Monk "Mr. Monk". I just find it very annoying and can't understand why she can't just call him Adrian once in a while. Sharona always did and her and Monk seemed to have a better relationship and better interactions with each other so that's the main reason why I prefer Sharona over Natalie.

I liked Sharona the best.

While I like both characters, Sharona is my favorite of the two, since her character was fleshed out more. I'm sure in time Natalie's character will grow, but I liked the edginess of Sharona. I no longer have cable, so I have to wait for each new season to come out on DVD.

I first started watching the later episodes with Natalie then started watching the earlier episodes with Sharona. I pick Sharona even though I also like Natalie.

I liked Sharona, but I like Natalie a little more for her softer personality. There is a lot of talk on other boards from people wanting Adrian and Natalie to become an item. Sure, they have had some sweet scenes together, but to pair the two would absolutely ruin the show.

Since Monk went into reruns, I'm enjoying Sharona more -- she was brash & funny.

However Natalie is still my favorite -- she was warm and funny and a better fit with Monk.

I definitely prefer Natalie. This is one of the rare shows that got better in later seasons because she replaced Sharona.

Natalie - she has such a great sense of humor and still such warmth and devotion to her boss. Plus, when I started watching the reruns when she was on, so I'm more used to her. :cool: :D

Sharona by a mile. She was a much cooler and down to earth girl. She would be a much funner date than Natalie.

All these years later and my answer is the same. I like them both equally. One of the things I liked about Sharona was the flirting between her and Disher. I was saddened when she left because I felt sorry for Randy, as it was clear he had a crush on her. But Natalie is great and I think is a more likable character.
