It's time for the big announcment! My daughter Marissa was born 1-3-07 at 5:44 A.M. My wife was actually induced on 1-02, but it was a long process. Baby was healthy, 7 pounds, 4 ounces. We had to spend an extra day in the hospital because my wife's legs were literally exhaused after the 2 hours of pushing.
We got home last night around 8 PM. I had to drive my new daughter home in a rainstorm which made me a little nervous lol. When we arrived home, visitors started coming over to see the baby, and since the wife had plenty of help with them at that point, I snuck off for a nap.
Thanks for all the prayers and good wishes, it's all appreciated believe me.

Congratulations!! Tell the same to your wife. You both must be so proud. We probably won't be seeing you for a little while, seeing as when you're not feeding or changing, you'll be sleeping. I love babies. Take some pictures for us! Again, congrats!

She woke up for a feeding which is why I'm awake right now. My wife is breast feeding, so I'm not much help there until she gets a pump.
