I guess a manager at Domino's can make halfway decent money. I don't really know.

Did the recording say anything about being a manager or were they looking for drivers? Either way, Domino's is not a "career" type job. It's good to work there for extra money but nothing too serious like a career change.

You would need a second car just to pay for the upkeep of the Mercedes! (Their recent repair records have been pretty bad.) Try a Lincoln Town Car- better reliabilty and much less expensive to operate- more room inside, too. :)

i've always thought that that might be an interesting summer job...making pizza...but i wouldn't necessarily feel safe delivering. I'm not a good driver :(

I made less than that before and was able to live off it. I had to get a roommate to help with the finances, but that's helpful even if you're making 10.00 hr...

However, it's not hard to find a better paying job, unless you actually intend on going into the pizza business; in which case you should seriously consider it, the more experience the better!

If I had driver's lessons to deliver maybe I could get a job at Domino's.

ANY job is better than NO job!
I am older, and looking for my first job at a retail establishment, and need a part-time job. I have ebnough money from financial aid and student loans to pay rent, but I need extras, too. LIKE FOOD! :liplick: :eatarrow:

I'm in college, but old enough to have watched these TV shows when they FIRST came out! :tv: I WAS working for myself, as an independant sales rep, but those are hard, if you don't have a large clientele.

So even a min. wage job is OK. My big problem is that the "kids" that interview me seem to think poorly of me, for not having had cashier experience --as if that is tantamount to brain surgery! :ohno:

Back in the OLD days, cashiers had to know how to do math, and to type prices in carefully --they didn't have the bar codes!!

:dizzy:
