I just wanted to know if there's been any updates on this case?

(I apologize in if this has already been addressed on the "updates" thread and I've overlooked it)

I can't find anything about him on the net so I'm assuming there weren't any arrests in his case. Personally I think Donovan Jacobs was in on the attack, I don't think he did it personally but put the ones who did up to it.

I'm with you, I believe Donovan Jacobs was in on the attack in some way or another, and I didn't really believe anything that came out of his mouth.

One of the reasons I think Jacobs was in on it was the phone call made from Wheeler's home during the attack was to a department at the police station that I believe Jacobs worked in. Plus the fact that Wheeler testified against him and stated that he was a racist in that earlier trial Jacobs probably thought of Wheeler as someone who turned against a fellow officer and had an ax to grind.

Doyle stated that he thought he recognized one of his attacks (the dair haired one) as an informant for the narcotics unit of the SD police force.

And on top of that, the attacker makes a phone call to the San Diego police department and asks for Donovan Jacobs.

...Which sounds very fishy too me.
