Does anyone follow this soap-opera like Video Blog???

I just kinda watched a few when I first discovered you-tube, I had no idea how involved it was. There are some serious avid fans out there who seriously follow the clues and spend hours solving the puzzles. I can't keep up with it. I just watch it every now and then when a new video is realeased.

Or am I the only one?

Without a doubt this lonelygirl thing is one of the best marketing gimmicks since "Blair Witch."

Whoever came up with this idea saw the potential of Youtube and created a phenomenon.

She's a smart girl, and made YouTube even more popular. She should've been Time Magazine's person of the year, in my opinion. :lol:

I'm going to start a video blog soon. maybe I'll get my face posted on USA Today like this girl, too.

I think when she was in the news(before they realized she was fake) was what got me into YouTube. I've literally been obsessed lately, spending hours and hours over there. I'm not too much into her video blog though, I certainly don't spend a lot of time trying to figure out clues.

I was naive at the time when I started watching her video blogs not knowing it was all fake. But I got to hand it to the people who started this gimmick it got publicity and made headlines. Still, I don't thing Jessica Rose will ever make it big, she will always be synonymous with her LonelyGirl15 character.

And to answer your question, I stopped watching her vids, I can't and do not really want to keep up with this soap opera. :)
