I was watching Super Password reruns on GSN Wednesday, and one of the celebrities on this week of reruns was Jonathan Prince, creator of American Dreams. I think that these shows originally aired in Feb. 1987, and Mr. Prince was on a sitcom called Throb at the time. I think that the sitcom was on Fox (which had not really even become an official network yet), starred Diana Canova, and had something to do with the music business. I remembered him in an earlier sitcom called Mr. Merlin, which starred Barnard Hughes. My mom saw this show with me and thought he was Michael J. Fox, and he does look & sound a bit like Fox and is probably just a bit taller.

Yeah, I saw Jonathan on Super Password, too. I love the show 'cause I love Bert Convy, he died WAY too young and I will always miss him! Anyway, it was really groovy to see Jonathan on there, wasn't it?? I was talking to the screen, thanking Jonathan for creating and for all that he did concerning our beloved American Dreams.
At least he gave us something great for a short while, eh??

Well, if anyone has GSN, Super Password is running another week of shows w/ Jonathan Prince as a guest celebrity. These shows originally ran in July 1987, and he was still in the cast of Throb. His remaining shows should be airing back-to-back Tuesday & Wednesday (3/6-7) on GSN from 4-5 PM ET if you get a chance to see or tape them.
