I am new to this site but I am a big fan of Gimme A Break. I love the show from when I was a teenager and I am so happy it is now on DVD. The early season episodes are my favorite ones.

I know Jonathan and Julie marry and have a child. I think the child is a girl, but I don't remember. Does anyone remember the episode when the child is born? I don't recall seeing that one.

Anyway, it is great to see so many GAB fans !

Yes, Julie and Jonathan had a baby girl, which they named after Nell. However, I don't recall a "birth" episode for the child. In fact, if I recall correctly, throughout most of that storyline in the 5th season, Julie hardly looked pregnant at all. If anything, she looked like she was in her first trimester for most of that season. Hope this info helps answer your question in some way!

Yes ! they were so much the cute couple. I think they should have made more development of the young family of Jonathan, Julie and little Nell. I was sad when their characters went away on the show.

He was on one episode in the middle of the 4th season, where Julie snuck away to a ski cabin to be with him. He wasn't seen again until the last one of the 4th season, where they ran off to Vegas and got married. There wasn't a birth episode for baby Nell, at the beginning of the 6th season, Nell was already born. Julie and Jonathan (as well as Katie and Simpson) only appeared on the first two episodes of the 6th season. Sam only appeared a couple more times after the move to New York.
