I have a long standing bet with a close friend about the existence of a
short-lived sit-com in the late 70's early 80's. He denies the show existed,
but I remember very clearly watching it, although I cannot recall the name or
any stars.
Here's the premise of the show:
Two cops who are partners (a man and woman) share a secret romance (they might
be secretly married, I forget). They live in the same apartment building and,
although they appear to live across the hall from one another, there is a
hidden door that adjoins their apartments (you see this in the opening credits,
l think). Set in SoCal somewhere. That's it... very simple (weak) premise...
perhaps explaining the short run it enjoyed.
I've looked in all the books and websites and come up with nothing, but I KNOW
this stupid show existed. Please help!
