80 • The Earrings

It's Valentine's Day, and after Ann makes Don a souffle that sinks, and Don gives Ann roses she is allergic to, they exchange more permanent gifts. She gives him a tie clasp and he gives her a pair of genuine diamond earrings they saw together at Tiffany's. What a gift! But Ann is scared to wear them because of their value. When Don puts his foot down and insists she wear them on their evening of dinner and dancing, one of them indeed disappears. Don wants to make Ann feel better, so he buys another earring and plants it in the apartment where he believes she will find it. She wants to make Don feel better, so she buys one to pretend to find also. When the restaurant calls saying they have found her missing original, she now has two complete pairs! Guest appearances include Fabian Dean as the rose-bearing messenger, and Albert Carrier as their waiter.

Drats! I'll have to wait until the third season dvd comes out to see it. :(

When does the third season come out? I was lucky enough to have won season's one and two from an online contest that TV Land had when they had their That Girl marathon in December. I'm hooked on the show!!

Season 3 will be released June 12.
