pscisme 01-06-2007, 04:40 PM I got Season 1 for 17.44 at Sam's Club-sucha deal! Just popped in the first disc and the happy memories came flooding back! For those who only know about this show from George Costanza going on about how his mother was "uglier than Hazel" and "a shorter, fatter version of Shirley Booth," I heartily recommend you check this show out-Miss Booth (an Oscar winner for "Come Back Little Sheba" in 1952) was certainly not a classic beauty, but she was nevertheless a fiesty individual whom you just gotta love!
If you ARE looking for a classic beauty, you'll find one in Whitney Blake, who plays one of Hazel's employers. Blake, who went on to great success behind the scenes with "One Day At A Time" is a stunner-and overall, this long-neglected sitcom (which at one time was as common in daytime reruns as "Brady Bunch" and "Saved By The Bell") is a true classic!
Just hope the remaining 5 seasons get as good a rerelease....

That's a great deal:)
Robert 13 01-09-2007, 11:37 AM My sister gave it to me for Christmas. I am enjoying the episodes. I hope they will release Season 2. What are our chances?
twinkle44301 01-21-2007, 09:19 PM My hubby gave me this for Xmas. I am not sure where he purchased it, but I have been enjoying watching the first season episodes.
I hope they release all the seasons. Does anyone know how many seasons of Hazel there were?
Tom Munster 01-26-2007, 07:57 PM There were 5 seasons in all. The first 4 were on NBC and the last season aired on CBS. The final season had some major format changes that not everyone cared for.
By the way, I bought my first season DVD a few months back and I think it's a great escape. Especially loved seeing and hearing both vocal and instrumental versions of the ending themes songs, uninterupted with the original "Screen Gems" logo back where it belongs. Thank you Sony Pictures!
twinkle44301 01-26-2007, 08:17 PM Thanks, Tom...
I've really enjoyed watching this series. There are many of these shows that I've not seen before.
I just wish Universal would pay attention to how Sony does this...no two-sided goofed-up discs for Sony.
MichaelKeith 03-01-2007, 03:20 PM I believe you can email Sony at: spn_questions@sonypictures.com and request that they release season 2 of Hazel on DVD. I'd sure like them to do so. What a funny show. Please email Sony and ask them to do so. I've already emailed them. Michael;)
