I was wondering if anybody can help me out? Last night I saw the season 7 episode Too many Santa's and noticed Josh Byrne who played Brendan was not in the cast. I have seen every step by step episode up until season 5 but stopped watching after. Can anybody tell me if he left the show and why? And if he did, how was he written off the show? I do know about Sasha Mitchell and his problems. But how was he written off the show? :)

He wasn't, they said no mention of his name in Season 7 at all or why he is gone. He went through a Chuck Cunningham Syndrome phase. Similar of what happened to Judy Winslow on Family Matters.

Oh ok thanks for letting me know. I hate when that happens, I do remember reading a bit of your thread on Chuck Cunningham Syndrome. :)
