I believe it was the 80s. A family has a maid, I think, who was alive in the 20s and somehow was alive in the present. It had a cool theme song. Any clues??

Sounds to me like Diff'rent Strokes--the maid sounds like Nedra Volz who played Adelaide Brubaker. VERY Old lady-- always with her white hair in a bun. Hope that fits the description. If not, I can't think of anyone else.
