View Full Version : Lather. Rinse, and...Repeat? Janice 12-20-2006, 12:35 AM Well do you, repeat, when shampooing your hair? I do. My husband doesn't. Ireneparalegal 12-20-2006, 12:37 AM Never. Hollow 12-20-2006, 12:49 AM i have over three feet of hair, it wouldn't be worth using up all that shampoo. sara 12-20-2006, 01:15 AM It depends. Not usually but if my hair seems extra oily I'll repeat. moeee 12-20-2006, 01:35 AM I dont. Just one time and thats it. I think once is enough. Brian Damage 12-20-2006, 01:58 AM Lather and rinse and I am done. Lex Luthor 12-20-2006, 02:09 AM None of the above, Being folically challenged does make the shampoo and conditioner bill a little lower. Karen* 12-20-2006, 02:31 AM Yes I do. Jo_Luvs_Ketchup 12-20-2006, 05:12 AM With hair as long and thick as mine, I'd use up half a bottle of shampoo with one shower lol. However, I usually put conditioner in my hair. I love my hair!!:D TJL 12-20-2006, 05:48 AM Not me. I'm a busy man! You think I'm made of free time? ;) 80sTrivia 12-20-2006, 06:40 AM I don't repeat. My hair is short and I think one good shampooing and rinsing is quite sufficient... Already Gone 12-20-2006, 09:04 AM Nope, only once. Courtnee 12-20-2006, 06:17 PM I do it twice. cmcb06 12-20-2006, 06:55 PM Nope, only once. dlemond 12-20-2006, 07:05 PM From Friends: Phoebe (singing): I'm in the shower and I'm writing a song Stop me if you've heard it. My skin is soapy, and my hair is wet, and Tegrin spelled backward is Nirget. Lather, rinse, repeat and lather, rinse, repeat and lather, rinse, repeat as needed. 80sTrivia 12-20-2006, 08:12 PM From Friends: Phoebe (singing): I'm in the shower and I'm writing a song Stop me if you've heard it. My skin is soapy, and my hair is wet, and Tegrin spelled backward is Nirget. Lather, rinse, repeat and lather, rinse, repeat and lather, rinse, repeat as needed. I remember that episode... Sharop 12-20-2006, 08:33 PM Good one, dlemond. :) I don't shampoo my hair twice - just once, and then I put conditioner in it. Number 9 Dream 12-20-2006, 08:36 PM I only do it once (and almost never condition either). Titania 12-20-2006, 09:15 PM only once. but lots of conditioner. my hair needs it to keep from being a giant ball of frizz. swedeace 12-20-2006, 09:18 PM No. I just lather up my hair with soap and water so it's foamy. After washing, I just rinse my hair completely with the water. I don't repeat. What's the purpose in that, anyway? Janice 12-20-2006, 11:40 PM To think that all these years, I've been REPEATING! I was just following directions, lol. Today, I only lathered up once, and I did NOT repeat, and my hair got just as clean. I'm thinking the repeating thing is for people who don't wash their hair often. I wash my hair every day. Sharop 12-21-2006, 08:23 AM I wash my hair twice a week. It tends to get pretty greasy in about three days, so twice a week is probably enough for me. Actually, I need to take a shower today. I usually have mine in the early evening time, around 5-7 p.m. Janice 12-21-2006, 10:53 AM From Friends: Phoebe (singing): I'm in the shower and I'm writing a song Stop me if you've heard it. My skin is soapy, and my hair is wet, and Tegrin spelled backward is Nirget. Lather, rinse, repeat and lather, rinse, repeat and lather, rinse, repeat as needed. I can so picture that. Sharop 12-21-2006, 07:55 PM Well, I had a shower. :) I do enjoy taking them in the winter time. It really warms you up! Mr. Cranky 12-22-2006, 11:34 AM The repeat instruction is a marketing gimmick by companies to dupe customers into using more of their product. I Love John Ritter 12-22-2006, 07:14 PM Never, and I have very long hair. Courtnee 12-22-2006, 08:18 PM I didn't repeat today and it almost killed me. |
