According to the Toronto Sun and the Channel Canada website, Canadians will soon be getting a pair of popular US movie channels that their fans have wanted for many years, that being Turner Classic Movies and American Movie Classics. Both will be offered soon on both digital and satellite packages. Turner Classic Movies is owned by Ted Turner of TBS, CNN, and TNT, and offers classic and sometimes rarely seen films from the 30s to the 60s, while AMC will focus on classic films from the 70s to today. Not a bad deal if you can afford it and definitely long overdue.
