I live in a aptment building sometimes I can hear others talking on my phone which they can't hear me I can;t call out or in ifthere on the other line, the other night I was talking with a friend and all of a sudden the phone rang on the other line and thye answerd, the lione crossed from the upstairs neighbor,I tried to say hello to my friend she could not hear me. It seems like the lines get crossed in the winter,or it seems more often. I think I have other lines crossing over also, It's sucks because I am in a milldle of a conversation and I can't do anything.

I sometimes hear people talking even when I'm not on the phone. Is that normal?;)

Seriously though, I think that has happened to me at times at various apartment buildings I've lived in. And I remember one place I lived at where I could hear people's telephone conversations on my walkie-talkie. That actually happened other places outside, too. But I think apartment buildings have more of a problem with that stuff happening.

I haven't heard anyone on our phone like that in a very long time. We have a really good company in our area though.
