We get the marathon, and that's it? Are they going to keep running this? Anyone know?

TVLand was suppose to add it to the lineup after the marathon, but they decided against it before the marathon even aired. The marathon didn't do as well as they would have liked so the chances of "That Girl" being on again regularly aren't good.

This statement was posted by TVLand.com's "The Link" regarding the "That Girl" marathon:

I am surprised, but, the ratings were not great. They were lower than the past months' regular scheduled weekends. Thus, there will not be any further consideration of "That Girl" for addition to the regular schedule.

That's a shame...I thought that the marathon was honoring Marlo's birthday, though, and not a "test" to see if they'd air it regularly.

Thanks for the help guys. I can't help but be disappointed though. I hope the same thing happens with MASH. No offense to anyone who likes the show, but they already run it on like two other stations. TVLand needs to stop doing the reality and VH1-esque countdown shows and start airing more classic comedy like That Girl...:(
