I just purchased the Roseanne season one DVD set from Australia that was released by Magna Pacific NOT Anchor Bay and is therefore unedited. I was wondering if anyone else had the unedited set??? I will be sure to let everyone know if it is truly "unedited" as soon as it arrives!

I posted about this weeks ago.. its not 100% unedited... one ep is edited, but thats it, and only one scene.

Well.. it starts off differently.
The "Roseanne" logo in the intro is different, more 80s blueish.

The first thing we see is Becky on the phone, then Roseanne and the kids enter.. and then DJ asks about his shoes (where syndicated version begins).

The scene at the factory is longer.. with the girls discussing Booker.

Roseanne gets home from work (and Darlenes school) and confronts DJ whether he ate the pie or not... when Darlene enters (syndicated version begins here) and Roseanne asks about why she barks..

The end credits roll while the theme music plays, and not during the final scene... that should be the differences seen in the pilot :)

what exactly is the original roseanne logo? How much different is it compared to the one seen now?

The original Roseanne logo has a blue shadow underneath it and the font is not cooper black.

Is there anyway you could post the logo, or even the share the episode with us? I know we would all love to watch it.

does anyone have a screen shot of the old logo. I'm curious to see it. I would like to order it, but im gonna wait until i have seasons 7-9

I can get a screen cap of the original logo. I'll post it here later on. You'll be a bit suprised if you havent seen it before, its very different from the one we're used to.

I really hate that logo but take the good with the bad. I hate when companies cut their dvds :mad: glad I havent buy Roseanne yet.

i like the first logo. I'm gonna wait to see Anchor Bay ends up releasing an uncut season 1, b4 i order the Aussie version.

To be honest i dont think that they are going to release a uncut season one.Though why release the australian dvd uncut? are they bigger fans or something???:D Did anchor bay owe australia a favour!? lol
