Haven't seen this one discussed here but I probably just haven't searched enough.Anyway, the two lovers on a moped/bike stop at a red light when all of a sudden from behind a group of hoodlums in a pick up truck whacks the girl on the back of the head.Didn't kill her but she was interviewed and you could tell that there was some severe impairment there.I'm sure it's just paranoia but whenver I'm walking/jogging,especially at night,and a car closely approaches me I am always reminded of this case and I subsequently check over my shoulder. Was her/their attackers ever caught? Can't remember an update.

The victims name was Jennifer Pratt. It was on a very early UM. Police seem to think the assault was meant for her boyfriend, Curtis Croft, who was on the front of the bike. He had been in trouble for drugs in the past and had apparently narced on some people that could have been out for revenge. Yes Jennifer suffered severe brain damage as a result of the attack. As far as I know no one was ever arrested for the assault.
