Does anyone here know what their overall relationship with each other was like? This has been bugging me, as I hate to think that anyone could stay mad at sweet Michael J Fox for long. I heard that their relationship was strained for awhile. What was that all about? I hope the friction only lasted a few weeks. It's my understanding that the cast of Family Ties was usually a group of close people that lived together in harmony most of the time.

I think MB was frustrated about MJF's stardom because every episode was basically about Alex and that's not what she and M Gross had signed for: the show was supposed to be about the parents. I guess she was just a little jealous and was maybe a little snobbish to MJF and got pissed when he was late for the taping.
