I've never seen this 1984 made-for-tv movie. I'm looking high and low for it. I don't think it's on video...Amazon, Netflix or my Video Store don't have it.

It's the movie where Ted Danson plays a sexually abusive father. Does anyone ever see this movie on tv these days?

When I saw this thread, I thought you were talking about the Movie Amelie, with Audrey Tautou. That was a good movie.

Iv'e never heard of the movie you mentioned though. It sounds like a heartbreaking film.

I seen the movie back when it aired initially. It was really crossing the barrier with the theme of incest. It was kinda hard for me to watch considering the subject matter.

I recommend getting it if you ever find it. I would have thought Ted Danson playing a role like that would have affected his future endeavors as an actor, but it didn't. That's how real it was.

I had seen it once when it aired as a rerun, but never heard of it again.

I'm just surprised that this movie isn't running on Lifetime or another movie channel. It was nominated and won so many awards, yet it's like the movie never happened. I've recently gotten into Becker, and I have a renewed interest in Ted Danson, and I'd love to see this movie. I can't buy it, can't rent it....

Here's the award breakdown.
