Christmas Nut' Decorates 52 Trees In S.C. Home

Richburg, S.C. -- Melody Howell doesn't just have a Christmas tree; she has a whole Christmas forest in her Richburg-area home.

This year, she has 52 decorated trees -- one in every room of her house, including one in the laundry room and another in a bathtub.

Most folks think about their holiday decorations after Thanksgiving, but Howell never stops. She told the Rock Hill Herald she starts decking her halls Oct. 1 to be ready by mid-December.

Husband Gary Howell said his wife is a Christmas nut, but he added that their house looks beautiful when she's all done.

Anyone who watches Frasier, do you remember what his apartment looked like in the Christmas episodes? Martin usually insisted in decorating it in a very garish style. I actually quite liked it, although Frasier and Niles didn't think it was very tasteful.

And I thought my uncle did a lot with 8-10 trees in his house every year. It does look great though so I can see why she did it. Although, she must have a GIANT house to put that many trees in.

Damn.... damn. That's a LOT of trees, lol.

DAMN!!!! 52 TREES? I guess that means the air freshener in her car is an actual Christmas tree and her and whatever passenger have to sit slanted to see out.

When she goes out at night, she lights the air freshener,alonmg with all the other car lights. Or maybe she;'s just seen Christmas Vacation one too many times

She must have one hell of an electricity bill.
