Help! What is the name of the episode/season that has humans dressed as poodles. They were aliens that landed in Sam's backyard. Thanks!

The episode you are looking for is from Season 4,
# 137 "Samantha's Secret Saucer"

They were Zapped to earth all the way from the Planet Perenthia
by mistake by Aunt Clara.

"Samantha's Secret Saucer" is also notable because it marks the final screen appearance for Marion Lorne as Aunt Clara. She passed away shortly thereafter. I also enjoyed the friendly dog-like aliens, one of whom was played by one of my favorite character actors (and frequent Bewitched guest star), Steve Franken.

That was a cute episode, & they made such cool alien dog people.

Yes, this was a fun ep -but then saying a Bewitched ep is fun is like saying the sun is yellow. What stood out for me in this ep, was seeing Gladys's change of character after she got some zaps from the nice gun. It was refreshing to see her outside of her normal outnoxious, snooping and malicious character. I wished someone had just once turned her into a pillar of salt or a statue that stood as a repository for bird's relief. (Maurice, where are you when we need you???):) ;)

The last thread I answered got me thinking. DID Gladys ever get turned into something? I'm ashamed I don't know the answer but I know someone out there probably does.

P.S. Catlover--love the Sam pilgrim avatar--it's to die for!!

Thank you, Rich! I don't recall Gladys ever being turned into something. Abner was turned into a pile of ashes in the first season seance, and her nephew was turned into a goat in the fourth season Halloween episode.

Rats! Gladys would have made such a good pillar of salt. And then a tiny drizzle would have been nice.

Do I detect a bit of hostility there, Rich? ;)

Yes, shocking as this revelation may seem, I do not like Gladys; she's nosy, mean-spirited, and take relish in humiliating others--not endearing qualities. If not a pillar of salt, I'd settle for the tables getting turned on her--like, getting committed to a mental hospital for a few hours. (What a fun spell for Endora!)

However, Gladys did add an essential flavor to the show. But I thought the first Gladys was much nicer and almost as effective.
